St. Patrick’s Day Creative Writing

Each year my class makes St. Patrick’s Day traps in order to try and catch those sneaky leprechauns! We haven’t caught one yet, but our class gets so messy from the leprechauns trampling through it! Needless to say the excitement is always high in our room!

Leading up to St. Patrick’s Day we spend time reading St. Patrick’s Day books and each year we complete a creative writing activity that has a cute craft with it. This year we wrote about if we found a pot of gold and what we would do with all of our gold! They turned out so cute and the students had a lot of fun completing them.

This If I found a pot of gold writing craftivity is in my TPT store! Included are various writing templates and sentence starters to suit the needs of all learners in your room!

What do you do in your classroom to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?
